Rusted Old Gate

May 19, 2015 ~ dawnblanchard ~ 3 Comments

It looks like it should be tossed.

This rusted gate was left by the previous owners of our house.  For a short spell when we had chickens last year, it became the door to the coop.  Now, it rests against the back of our wood shed.

It is rusted and old.

And yet, I find that it makes for wonderful photography.

Curly

April 21, 2015 ~ dawnblanchard ~ 1 Comment

My father gave me a bag of wood shavings to use for the critter cages (we have a rabbit and a guinea pig) from his workshop.

These curly pieces were too cute not to photograph.

Wood and Wine

Sitting on the patio with a glass of wine on a warm summer evening.

Need I say more?
