It’s been some time since I’ve posted. I seem to have gotten out of the habit of updating my blog sometime around the craziness before Christmas.
Since I took a few pictures while I was in NB over the holidays, I thought I’d go back a bit and share some of them with you. These were taken in my parents’ backyard; it snowed nearly every day I was there.
On a blowy, snowy day, pictures are best captured from the warm side of the glass.
In every season, this tree is picturesque. It is my favourite tree in our yard.
I went up to my son’s room to capture this shot, to have a simple background of snow (instead of the other trees that stand beyond). I love the shape of the branches, the tiny crab apples that hang on even through the fiercest months.
It has been the subject of many pictures as it changes with the seasons.
