I love to make lists. Apparently, I always have, because I found this in that old binder, too.
It organizes my day, my life in tasks. Motivates me to get things done. Inspires me to create. It is a visual reminder of what I would like to do and what I have done.
Finding this childhood list brought a smile to my face.
I still make those little boxes to check off, sometimes. I just don’t colour them in.
If there was one thing I always loved as a kid, it was a new project.
Planning, creating, cutting, and gluing. Making posters was fun.
Now, I’m making a poster to promote the photography class I’ll be teaching to kids this fall. And I’m having fun with it all over again!
I have a new project: I am going to teach a kids’ photography class.
I’ve spent the last couple of days planning, finding a location, and getting materials ready. Making the poster and forms has been fun; I have always loved working on computers, and anything to do with photography makes me happy.
It’s the creativity, though, that is the best part: a purpose and an outlet for this head full of ideas.
