Every once in a long while, we take the kids bowling.
This week (the kids’ March Break), with temperatures that dropped below -40 celcius with wind chill, was a good week for indoor activities.
So we bowled. Terribly, most of the time. But we had fun.
The kids got a 500-piece puzzle for Christmas.
On the day of the freezing rain, I thought it would be fun to work on it together. My daughter helped me with the border, then lost interest. My son had no interest whatsoever.
I, on the other hand, sat there working on it for two hours. Every time I go down to put a log in the fire I stop to add a few pieces.
It is a simple yet satisfying task.
Santa should have given the puzzle to me.
