Although it has been a very cold March, for a moment I was able to feel the heat of the sun on my face.
When the wind slowed and the high sun fought through the bitter air, I could feel the warmth on my cheek.
This gave me a little hope that spring will arrive, after all.
Although it was cold outside, the sun was beating down through the windows of my car.
For a moment, I looked at the sky and could imagine that it was summer.
It rained and it rained and it rained.
A dreary, wet, dark day. Certainly not my idea of summer.
But just before dusk, the sun found a way through the clouds and turned the light gold.
For a minute, I stood with my children and just looked at the light.
