About In a Snap

This page started out as a way to share moments through the eyes and words of photographer Dawn Blanchard. After a four-year hiatus during which life changed drastically, she is back with snippets of her journey. Follow In a Snap for a glimpse into the stories that helped her find her light again. In sharing, she hopes to help others, in some small way, to find the magic in the moments.

A self-taught photographer with a focus on finding art in accidental places, Dawn strives to turn boring into breathtaking in both photography and in life.

Dawn’s photography can be found on Etsy and at local markets in and around Bathurst, NB, Canada.

Dawn’s writing has been published in Chicken Soup for the Soul and as a past columnist of β€œOn the Bright Side” in The Northern Light.

    1. I am flattered that you have nominated me for this award… Thank you! I have to admit, though, that I have been having a very difficult time finding blogs (that I enjoy) with fewer than 200 followers. This is why I have not replied earlier, not because I have not wanted to follow through with it. But thanks again, and best of luck with your own blog!

      1. Not to worry. Accepting the Word Press awards can be a lot of work. I think the point of being here is to have fun with this, right? πŸ™‚ Best of luck to you as well.

  2. Hello Dawn – Just to let you know I added you to a ‘recommended’ blogroll on my site. Your themes here seem to complement my own to some degree – and making connections is sort of what it’s all about really. By all means let me know if you don’t wish to be linked in this way. Regards.

  3. I’m so glad to have found your blog… I feel close to you because I am doing similar thing with my blogging… πŸ™‚ Where are you from?
