Because I love to write, and I love to make pictures…
I’m sharing moments in words and pictures.
It’s the little things that count.
It seems I’ve always taken pictures, and I’ve always written. I grew up in Northern New Brunswick, and now live in Ontario with my wonderful husband and two amazing children. As well as a writer and photographer, I am a teacher, an administrative assistant, and a sometimes stay-at-home mom.
My column, “On the Bright Side,” is published in The Northern Light newspaper twice a month.
My photos have been featured on numerous websites, and I am proud to say they are on the walls of many homes. I have taught photography classes with the University of New Brunswick and to children through a course I created, called, “Photography in a SNAP!” I was also awarded a grant for integrating photography into the school curriculum.
I love capturing the details of life, especially the little ones that might easily be overlooked.
I also adore travelling, love to read, and admire pretty things like flowers and lacy dresses. I can’t seem to get enough coffee or chocolate, either.
This is my blog, and these are my pictures.
