Last Summer’s Seeds

little-wildflower

While mowing the lawn (using a contraption I’ve only recently learned how to operate, and have discovered is actually quite fun), I noticed these tiny wildflowers growing on the side of our deck.

Last summer, I threw wildflower seeds at the base of our screen house, without much luck. But here they are, a year later, popping up where I least expect them.

So I mowed around them, not willing to cut them down with the grass.
