The kids got a 500-piece puzzle for Christmas.
On the day of the freezing rain, I thought it would be fun to work on it together. My daughter helped me with the border, then lost interest. My son had no interest whatsoever.
I, on the other hand, sat there working on it for two hours. Every time I go down to put a log in the fire I stop to add a few pieces.
It is a simple yet satisfying task.
Santa should have given the puzzle to me.
My family used to have a puzzle table set up around the holidays. It was good when you wanted to get away from the chaos, you could sit down and have a few minutes of peace.
I totally agree! 🙂
